Comments: Mahtab, you are so talented. I will be sharing your work with my friends and family. You do such beautiful work. It has been my pleasure meeting you in Accounting class and so glad you sit next to me in class. Thanks for sharing your website with me.
Mahtab, WONDERFUL! Your work is truly beautiful and a true joy to all who see it.
When I see your work I realize what a gift you have been given to be able to make these portraits come to life, and they each have their own emotion. In some I see excitement, and then great peace in another each one has a life of its own. God Bless you in all that you do!

We cant thank you enough!
The watercolor portrait of our children has become one of our most treasured posessions. Not only did you manage to capture the individual personalities of both our kids but you brought them to life and made thier smiles shine! Since our portrait arrived we have had it professionally framed and constantly have friends and family commenting on its beauty (we of course think they are talking about our adorable children). I think more than that people are amazed at the high quality of your work. You have a unique talent that has given us a tremendous gift - a treasure we will be able to hand down for generations!
You will hear from our family again soon, now that we have found you we intend to give your portraits as gifts. Can you imagine what a perfect and thoughtful gift!
Again, we cant thank you enough - we are so gratefull.
With sincere appreciation and friendship, Laurie Taunton
Blog Entry: Entry for August 06, 2008 As I look at and study this scene, I first see serenity..a quietness and peaceful view...The brush strokes of the background trees are dabbed on giving it a true meaning of
'Look at me--I'm here and I see you also' noticing my colors as the artist meant them to be daubed on with brush...I see this child sitting in wonder of the flowers and grasses around her..and she is happy and peaceful and quiet also..I see PEACE here...within you Mahtab..It's your serenity isn't it?

Blog Entry: Entry for July 22, 2008 It started in the middle ofthe night mahtab and I did also notice these children..The little girl clutching at the little boy most likly is her brother and is afraid of something she is witnessing.l.Is it irate patents? Hers fighting andshe is afraid?? I don't know but she is afraid..
And she also seems protective of him for some reason...Touched me to see this little girl in some obvious distress about something... This is what I see...
My dear friend! It's amazing the way you pick up the feelings in the paintings! That was exactly the case. Those kids are cosines. the boy is my son, while we were visiting she started to love him so much and the day we were going to say goodbye to come back to US I took that picture, and amazingly the way you described her feelings was exactly the way she felt!!!
Gosh Mahtab. I feel strange as I have never felt these feelings before about anyone else s painting...Thank you...I cannot understand this feeling for what you have painted....Elisayn hugs for you
maybe this transition is because you have such feelings to transfer to others thru your paintings...God bless you..Elisayn
